"We had an amazing experience with spa , incredible views and good breakfast. We received a bottle of local red wine as a VIP Expedia gift but free upgrades to room with a view on the lake was not available to us . The waiting staff were very friendly and the piano music in the evening felt very special . If the hotel provided coffee maker in the room it would make it even better."

"What’s beautiful Hotel, located just across the road from a private area to access the lake. A few nice restaurants close by and around a 15 minute walk to the town with lots of fabulous shops. Pool area is great also with a hydro pool and sauna. We had a garden room in the new part of the hotel which was very light and airy with a patio food out to a small patio with chairs. "This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. I am particular to five star hotels normally but this hotel very special super clean super quiet, rooms, wonderful pillows they even give you a choice of pillows. Breakfast was incredible. The staff was just so accommodating and kind. It was a really wonderful experience from the moment I walked into the moment I left. Thanks everyone who made it that special experience for us"

"A hard review to write. I gave 5 stars in most areas. The service and the overall property was excellent but for the price we had some issues. The KEY to the room is a huge pain! You only get one key and if you lose it there is a $1000 Swiss franc fee to replace it and a minimum 3 hour wait. Two doors to go through so it is very inconvenient. While the room we had was very large with a bedroom plus a large kitchen/living space with two patios there was only one TV in the living room! No bedroom...

"My second time to stay at this hotel, really love the location right next to Lake Lugano, peaceful and private. Very beautiful scenery. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is excellent with many choices. Very good service in the breakfast room/restaurant too. Room are clean. Will definitely come back if coming to Lugano again."
