"Great location for shops, bars and restaurants. Very easy to get to from the airport with the bus. Very clean and comfortable rooms, attentive and helpful staff. The coffee at breakfast and the Wi-Fi throughout the hotel could be improved. The breakfast room is a bit dark and could do with a small refurbishment. "

"I have stayed at the Monte Carlo for over 20 years and they have always looked after my needs with great care and compassion. The hotel is set in a wonderful position in the town ( not the soulless hotel zone) overlooking the sea and mountains. It’s a period hotel, with tremendous charm with a pool on the roof at a certain price point. We visited in April 2024 and the staff were fabulous and the stay in Madeira a joy. "It’s an old building but it was clean, staff were very friendly, everything was good, except that there’s no air conditioning and the fan was very noisy, another aspect is the beds are very hard, if they could change that, it would be great. Breakfast was excellent. "

I stayed here with my family for my 40th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. "Appartement simple mais très spacieux et pratique. La salle de bain est super avec des produits de qualité a disposition. Le propriétaire est super gentil il a même jeténos poubelles en partant. Beaucoup d'informations communiquées. Un petit paquet de gateaux et de bonbons typiques nous attendaient à notre arrivée ce qui est une jolie attention. Petit plus avec la boulangerie et supérette a proximité. Attention pour les conducteurs non avertis la rue est très pentue, n'ayez pas froid aux yeux....
