"Super endroit mais difficile de trouver un stationnement. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants en bas donc c’est toujours un peu brouillant. Dans l’ensemble c’était parfait pour nos besoins. "

"I have stayed at the Monte Carlo for over 20 years and they have always looked after my needs with great care and compassion. The hotel is set in a wonderful position in the town ( not the soulless hotel zone) overlooking the sea and mountains. It’s a period hotel, with tremendous charm with a pool on the roof at a certain price point. We visited in April 2024 and the staff were fabulous and the stay in Madeira a joy. "It’s an old building but it was clean, staff were very friendly, everything was good, except that there’s no air conditioning and the fan was very noisy, another aspect is the beds are very hard, if they could change that, it would be great. Breakfast was excellent. "
