No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "

"We had an absolutely perfect stay at Pestana Promenade! The rooms are lovely and spacious. The only thing that bugged me was the big arch blocking our view of the sea partially. A few rooms have this problem. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning ladies who do a wonderful job and are very kind. Amazing staff in the restaurant as well!
