"Great stay - spacious unit, nice and peaceful with everything you would expect... 10/10"

"Good wifi, lots of space."

"Room was a good size with all the amenities we needed. Manager was very friendly. Smart TV in room with good WiFi were nice bonuses."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"Front desk staff is friendly and efficient"

"Thank you see you again in the near future."

"Lovely warm Welcome by the Owner Glynis. My Unit was spacious, bright cosy and spotlessly clean with everything I could possibly need being available. The Bed was Large and very comfortable. Excellent quality & generous amount/ sized Amenities. This Motel is Excellent value for money! I highly recommended it if your looking for a comfortable, clean and pleasant stay in Te Aroha. 😊"

"Wonderful staff with exceptional hosts, thank you"

"Stunning Property. Beautiful location and gardens. Sue is an excellent host. Great breakfast and excellent coffee."

"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton. The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Our room had a nice view down the hill. Parking was free. Bathroom was small, the sink the size one can sometimes find in a small powder room - definitely too small. At evening time somebody cooked or fried a fish dish and the unpleasant smell was noticeable in our room as well. Unfortunately, it was still too cold outside to open the window overnight. Smelling the fish all night was not great."
