"This was the worst hotel I have stayed in in my 83 years. The hotel was in the process of a giant renovation and it is not ready to be rented. The rooms were clean enough but had a bed, small round table and no chairs. We asked for chairs to be delivered and were told they would be. They never came. When we checked out, they denied promising to deliver them and told us tables for all rooms "are on back order". There was no microwave or small refrigerator and the reception on the TV is far worse than 1950s rabbit ears. There was one towel. The door into the room from the outside barely locked and there is a 1/4 inch gap all around the door. The room where the inoperable ice dispenser stays will not pass public health codes. They told us they would try to have ice delivered in two hours. The business room in the main lobby is filled with large refrigerators. They made us put a deposit of $50 on the room for theft and damages which we got back, but there is nothing in the room worth stealing. Hotels.com should do better due diligence before representing a dump such as Days Inn in Paducah."

"Room was dirty, stains on bedding, bathroom sink was gross and carpet/floor was sticky!! It was the last room they had so didn't ask to move...we left very early the next morning...it also smelled like old cigarettes in the whole place. Staff was nice but yuck is the word for the rest...sorry, I really hate saying it but please clean it up or you'll lose more business. "

"Chicken went well but when we got to our room it smelt dank like water had been sitting up in there for a minute. The only good thing about our stay is we were at the end of the hall right next to a door. The last night we stayed there. My husband got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night in the bottom left part of the porcelain tank on the toilet broke off and started spewing water everywhere. It was fortunate that he knew how to turn the water off because the attendant at the front desk probably would have known how to do that. The management was accusational when it was reported. My husband got cut but nobody asked if you was okay. Nobody asked if we were okay. They were more concerned about getting the toilet changed out for the quilt show. That was about to start up the next day. So much so that before I checked out that day. Darcy, the front desk attendant sent maintenance to the room at 8:30 and then again at 9:30 to get the toilet out of there. When I requested that he wait until the 11:00 checkout, she comped an attitude with me stating that we were supposed to be moved to a different room that she if she had known we were in the room she wouldn't have sent down there even though my husband had called from the room that morning to ask what time check- out was.
