"Great location. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, staff very helpful. Struggled to park couple of nights but overflow car park only few minutes walk."

"Only 4 stars for the lift still being out several days after notification (before my arrival) of its not working. I may be harsh considering it was a bank holiday weekend. Staff made bringing heavy bag upstairs possible by carrying it thank you. Some hall carpets might be tended to."

"It’s beautiful"

"The hotel is OK. Our room was on the groundfloor and seemed a bit tired. It wasn’t a large bed and we were kept awake from 4 -5am by the television in an adjoining room. Parking at the hotel is easy (reduced payment for guests) and it’s convenient for the M5 and Exeter airport."

"All ok Barring air conditioning that repeatedley reset to a high temperature. I notified reception when leaving the hotel."

"What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back."

"I was staying with my 88 year old Mum. We were awoken at 3am by banging and chatting from the room next door. It continued until we left at 7.30am. The room was apparently a room bring renovated with no door lock, just holes where it should be and Yellow No Entry tape. I was told the occupants needed emergency accommodation for the night. I drove 4 hours home on 3 hours sleep. I would not recommend this hotel if you would prefer to sleep through the night!"
