"A very warm welcome from the staff who were attentive throughout my short stay. A good breakfast in the pleasant period atmosphere of the traditional dining room. For a 3 star hotel the rooms were well appointed - each with its own coffee pod machine. Wonderful sea views from many of the rooms."

"The breakfast was continental, tea, toast, coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt and delicious overnight oats. We do like a cooked breakfast though so this is a mark down for us. The room was beautiful and clean with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and mints which was a nice touch. There were small shower gels in the bathroom and a lovely rain shower. "The rooms were spacious and looked like they were recently renovated. Everything was clean and tidy, easy parking, welcoming hostess. It’s out of the town but a short drive to the town and shops. "

"Cheap but very grim. Owners haven’t spent a penny on it forever. Nothing finished even the fitting of the floors or removing old furniture. I don’t mind cheap and I don’t mind rustic, but strikes me of money for nothing. "
