"Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes"

"Our stay in this hotel has been really good. Its location, steps away from the Central Square and one block from one of the main Subway stations, is perfect. The hotel is also about 10 blocks away from Amsterdam "Centraal" train station which has direct service from and to the airport as well as many locations surrounding Amsterdam like Zaanse Schans to see four wonderful windmills on you own.
