"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"

"The first room we were allocated was facing the bar and atrium so we asked to change to a room that faced outwards. The restaurant was good though a bit expensive. Coffee was also quite expensive."

"Michael at reception was so helpful and gave me all the information I needed with regards to my room and food/drink. My room was clean, very peaceful and had a good sized desk and office chair so I was able to work during my stay. Food was nice and generous portions. The air con was fantastic in this hot weather. Overall an excellent hotel for business. I will be back!"

"We booked an accessible room as my husband has walking difficulties but is not wheelchair bound. We were very dismayed to find all the bedrooms were at the rear of the property from reception. Our allocated accessible room was nearly 200 yards from there and whilst we were moved to a regular bedroom immediately on entering the bedroom block, it was still the better part of a 150 yards walk back to the entrance. Also there were no disabled parking spaces close to the entrance, although...

"Food, staff and on site facilities were all excellent. However, I was in room 35. It has a fixed pane window. There is no way of letting air flow through the room whatsoever. I really don't think this is acceptable under environmental health. There is no air conditioning unit or extractor in this room. A fan is provided, but all this does is move the hot air around. At night, there's no way you can let cooler air into the room whatsoever. It's the same stuffy air, heated up by the sun...

"Please be aware that this hotel has been taken over by OYO. If I’d have known this prior to booking I wouldn’t have proceeded to book. I thought we were booking the Mecure but on arrival it was evident that OYO have taken over this hotel. The room was dirty and tired. Asked for a new room but they had none available. The only plus point was that the Young lad on reception was helpful and understanding and this wasn’t his fault. But for the price we paid for the room it was unacceptable."
