"Even though I booked a single room it still felt very small considering what I'd been charged and the bathroom was tiny. Bedroom had no window so felt a bit like a prison. Bathroom window had a blind but no blackout curtain, and the bathroom door had a window, so light from outside streamed into bedroom and woke me up earlier than I'd planned. "Room bathroom handle broken + 2 light fittings not working. Toilets in bar all cubicles out of order. Swimming pool was nice but handrail was loose/detached at bottom of stairs. Tried to order food on Saturday night but initially told kitchen closed until 20:30 then staff told to push back to 21:00, we gave up walked to Lidl and bought sandwiches. Such a disappointment, thank goodness for the brilliant bar tender Jake on the bar - he was very polite, attentive and apologetic."

"Visited for a 2 night stay visiting family. Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Reception all friendly and helpful. Bar staff very very good. Housekeeping that i bumped into also friendly and polite Didn't actually eat in the restaurant but did have a couple of pints both nights, with some chips, and a choccy brownie with icecream the 2 night. Both delicious. Went as a solo female traveller with mobility issues and felt safe and secure at all times Plan to def stay again in the future "
