"The location can't be beat. We wanted to be close to George Street. Parking was terrible. The public parking facility was under construction and scary. We opted not to park there and ended up valeting the car both nights. The hotel is aging, but it is very clean. The staff was excellent. "

"Close to the airport "

"Excellent rooms and breakfast was awesome. Would like to see less plastic and disposables used at breakfast and in the rooms (plastic bags around cups etc. Quiet, clean, good facilities etc, out of city centre but close to shopping for picking up forgotten or needed items and quick access to main tourist sites."

"Excellent location. Free parking close to shopping and lots of dining choices. Room only had one sitting chair. Free beverage was beer and not even Newfoundland beer! Front reception staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Parking garage across the street so need to factor into the cost. Nice atmosphere in a very old building and our room was lovely. Very convenient to downtown and walkable, tho some hills (like anywhere in St. John’s) and on major route to get out of town to see surrounding area. Lots of fairly steep stairs to access rooms so beware!"

"Great mid-level hotel in Corner Brook. Comfortable room with two double beds, desk, two chairs and a small refrigerator. Check in was great with a very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry room is clean and easily accessible. Breakfast was good the next morning.Locatiom is great and able to walk to several restaurants. Good easy parking."
