Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. It was ideally placed for our self organised tour of Sri Lanka and, from here, we visited the iconic sites of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and the fabulous Hurulu national park where we saw many elephants.
