"This trip was for a major surgery I was having and traveling to a world renowned surgeon in Rockford. From the minute we walked in the door Michelle was absolutely amazing. She was informative, genuine and welcoming. I was nervous and knew that at least my stay here was going to be wonderful. The day of my surgery we returned and we asked for extra pillows, she was spot on and said absolutely and anything else we needed, do not hesitate to ask. She recommended the restaurant and they did...

"The room was adequate and the bed was great. Staff upon entering was friendly and efficient. The best kept secret was the breakfast and Mary who makes the breakfast! When we booked this reservation it said continental breakfast. It was a full breakfast buffet and you all should make sure to say that in your ad. Mary did a great job welcoming and asking if everything was ok. Great place to stay!"

"The property was neat and clean. Your staff is was made it so special. The entire staff was friendly and willing to help with anything. When you passed a staff member in the halls, they made it a point to say hello. We will be keeping the Courtyard Marriott as a favorite place to meet and stay with friends. "Very well priced for what you get. Not the most updated, but for the price a very good value, and most importantly it was clean. Exceptionall friendly staff, both upon arriving in the evening and departing the next morning. Our only complaint was the coffee was pretty terrible. But not a deal breaker and still give it 5 stars!"

"Check in was really easy and convenient. You can tell the property is a little older, but our room was massive. We had a gorgeous view of the river right outside our room. I wish we could've gone on a trip on the local paddle boat, but they have scheduled trip days and hours that didn't correspond with our trip. The sauna was nice and got plenty hot, makes for a specialty that you don't usually find in hotels. 10/10 would stay again. Lovely town too, and great antique stores for any downtime. "
