"A quirky place that doesn’t allow electromagnetic radiation so all devices have to be turned off, they even had a radiation meter at reception to check. Connectors and ethernet cables are provided to connect phones etc to the imternet. Room was spacious but bathroom was very small. Lovely grounds by a lake, we had tea outside on the patio then went for a walk. There was an outdoor swimming pool which looked nice, although we didn’t use it. "I have stayed here before and was always quite satisfied, this time not so much. I had to change rooms because the first one had the heating turned on and it was very hot in there. The Concierge first didn't believe me, then gave me a room that was definitely not worth what I had payed, rather cramped, dull colours and the light in the hall didn't work. The hotel is otherwise quite nice. I hope it will be better again next time!"
