"Check in started pleasant then when we went to pay our damage deposit, our credit cards decline. We tried 4 different credit cards before we asked if it was an error with their machines. Both the person helping us and his coworker argued with us that it couldn’t be their machines because they checked people in all day. It wasn’t until an elderly couple’s card declined that they finally realized it was their machines. Check in took 30 minutes to check in and we were tired from the long drive. "

"Room wasn’t available due to flooding and had no idea till we arrived at the hotel that we had to try and find another room in a small town with a baseball tournament happening. Was not impressed at all."

"The breakfast was a great deal. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was well taken care of considering the age of the property. There is construction around the property as they're trying to do some upgrades. It was quiet during the night. It's old, if you need new and fancy, this is not your place but it's clean and the bed was great. We were quite happy and felt it was a good overnight spot that treated us well."

"Clean room, dated and basic. Situated very close to the highway in a kind of industrial area. The Hitching Post was a fun restaurant/ bar area. Basic continental breakfast."
