We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful."

"It was decent. There are safes in the rooms but ours didn’t work. When I told the owner , he said that nobody were using them anyway. I said that people probably didn’t because they were not working, although they looked brand new. He responded that they needed batteries, but they didn’t need any since nobody was using them. This is definitely the wrong answer to qualify for being customer oriented. Some staff lacked grooming."

"This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Well done to Marion and her team. They have booked us Taxis, made us Pizzas, provided local information for buses, shops and restaurants, supplied extra towels and a hairdryer. The continental style breakfast is good value in price, and the facility is clean and well managed. Everyone has spoken English, been polite, friendly and professional. This may be called a Hotel Ibis “Budget”, but it has high standards and all the staff work hard. Room 307 is at end of the corridor. It is a good size...

"Lovely friendly staff, my upset at not having enough pillows and coat hangers was rectified immediately. The only downside was the breakfast was not worth the 10 E that it cost. Otherwise a comfortable stay. Would go again "
