It was all new, clean, service super kindly and delicious breakfest

Wonderful location among the pines, cleverly designed rooms and outdoor space giving privacy and proximity to nature. Fantastic service from every member of staff, thoughtful and knowledgable. Extremely generous breakfasts, with variety every day.

Great stat, modern style comfy bed and good water pressure for the shower. Breakfast was a good spread, loved the fresh honey comb

Good choice of breakfast . Very clean throughout the hotel . Room top up of clean towels etc was excellent. Wonderful private beach with a lovely bar . The only gripe is being charged 20 euros for a bottle of water in the restaurant

Fantastic hotel

This is an attractive and high quality property next to the Hoel Victoria, where you can add an excellent breakfast. The staff are very smart, friendly and helpful and the location is very good.

The Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta is the epitome of what a small luxury five star hotel should be. All the staff were committed to ensuring we had a very pleasant staff. Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example.

Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews - this place is great. Recently done out. Rooms immaculate. Dining hall the same and a great variety of food. Wonderful seafront location with delightful walk to Piran and Portoroz nearby the other way. Staff all really helpful. Great pool just by the sea. Lovely little row of gift shops between the rooms and the pool area. Only thing was you had to pay for sun loungers but I think quite a few places do that in Italy. We were two adults and three children...
