Expedia has this classified as a three star hitel; WAY BETTER!!!
We are staying in three star hotels throughout Australia and this one puts them all to shame. Way to go Novotel Cairns!!!!"

"Room was mouldy, Ill equiped, bed springs broken, AC poured water on to carpet. Left 2 nights early and they wouldn’t provide a refund. Do not stay here "

"Good basic accommodation. Great location. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping centre and tram.. Rooms clean a bit dated and might like a lick of paint but about right for price point. Customer service ladies were lovely and very helpful. Rooms good size. Useful to know these are here. Lovely elegant lobby area and lifts. "

"I found Q1 to be pretty ordinary. We arrived late and there was no hot water the following morning. When we raised this with reception they noted that they were aware there were issues. This was not mentioned at check in. It was however resolved that day. Overall though the property just feel tired. Would not consider this a premium location.
