"The hotel isn't clean; there were cockroaches in the room. It reeks of cigarette smoke in the rooms and the toilet; there was dog poop stuck to the toilet. The bed smelled of cigarettes and the owner smelled of sweat. You'd be better off sleeping in your car than paying for this hotel."

"It’s one of the places where you can’t judge a book by its cover. When we arrived we were prepared to immediately go pay for a different hotel, but we gave it a chance. The room was clean and functional. Comfortable even. There was no shortage of hot water. The hotel was overall better than our stay in a more expensive place the night prior."
