"Guest room was in need of upgrade. Sheets were rough, as were the towels. Poor water pressure. Dirty washcloth left from previous guest or cleaner. Restaurant was ok. Waitstaff great. Need more hotel information in the room. At least telling you how to get Restaurant info, possibly menu."

"This is a well located motel allowing easy access to areas of interest in Sacramento, CA. The room I had was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I shall stay there again on my next trip to Sacramento."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property was well maintained and had everthging we needed---pool, gym, in-house restaurant for breakfast and dinner with decent food and bar. About 10 minutes to Sutter Park, for ball games. About 5 min to Cal Expo Center. About 10 to downtown Sacramento and about 15 minutes to "Old Town Sacramento"---super fine and nostalgic of cowboy days. Would stay again =)"

"The room was very reasonably priced. The location is perfect for downtown being only 15 minutes walk to the Capitol and less than 10 minutes walk to the Old Sacramento area. It is also next to the transit hub and 5 minutes walk to Amtrak. I strongly recommend."

"This was a first stay at this Fairfield in about five years. It remains a pretty good low-cost place to stay for a night or two. The breakfast isn't quite as good as we remembered it, and the $10 per day they now charge for parking was off putting. Beyond that, the biggest downside to this location are the frequent freight train horn blasts throughout the night they can nothing about but nevertheless impact the quality of sleep."
