"Check in was long. Our room was not ready at check in time at 4:00. We did not get keys to our room until 5:45. The room was old, small with a poor layout. The shower door did not latch or stay closed. It took 45min for dinner (burgers, a wrap and fries). The did compensate us with a $50 resort credit but said it was use it or loose it."

"The first day they have an event in the area of the pool, a private event. And even they offer you to go to a pool of the nearest hotel, I don’t think is the best way to all the guests. The next day the pool was dirty with hairs and like a black dust. I think this hotel is overhyped."

"First of all, the staff were fantastic. However, we were deeply disappointed with the state of our room. It reeked of mold, the carpet was damp and the light near the bathroom flickered when on. The air conditioner was super loud and only operated at one speed. Wi-do was spotty at best. We had a first floor room near the pool and random people kept sitting on our patio furniture. "The entire hotel is outdated, it looks more like a motel not Best Western hotel. I have been in many best western hotels before, but nothing compare to this one. The front desk staff weren’t professional at all. The room was terrible. The bed sheets were dirty and weren’t tucked in properly. There was hair in the bath tub and bathroom was nasty dirty. The bath tub drain wasn’t draining properly. All together the only thing good about this hotel is the location. Not recommending to anyone to stay...

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Ocean Beach Hotel. The price was far higher than what the property actually delivers. The room was very basic and lacked the quality and comfort I would expect for the amount charged. One of the biggest issues was the room's curtains, which barely covered the windows. "The Kings Inn could use a deep cleaning along with a face lift. When I walked into the lobby, I experienced an unpleasant smell. The elevator was off-limits to guests, unless accompanied by housekeepers. The $15 parking fee (no security present in lot) coupled with boisterous neighboring room guests were noteworthy.
