The Marriott at Mulu is a piece of luxury and tranquillity within a jungle environment. You can experience the wildlife and spectacle of the rainforest without having to forego the luxury. The room was clean and spacious with a great shower and nice products. The pool wasn’t huge but enough for a lovely refreshing dip and the spa provided a good selection of treatments. Overall very good stay at a bargain price. All services available and the executive suites were very nice and spacious. The only issue was a persistent bad odour from the bathroom. The hotel is in good location for Kuching with great views over the river. I would certainly stay there again when I go back to Kuching. They also had a good range of tours for those wanting to explore beyond Kuching which seemed well priced against the local tour companies.

Booked for 6 nights,stayed for 10. ALL staff very friendly and helpful, super clean, comfy bed, delicious breakfast with plenty of variations & daily newspaper to read while you eat. Luggage stored for an overnight trip to Bako National Park for which the number 1 bus stops a few metres away from the hotel...perfect! Also has an amazing bidet / toilet seat! 5* from us both, thank you

Overall an amazing place to stay in kuching, especially if your looking for somewhere with some character. The place is rustic with a few little bits which arent perfect, but place is really interesting, with lot of history and also really clean. The hotel is near the old town and china town, with lots of bar and restaurants nearby and short was to the river front.
