Cari Hotel di Schoharie County

"Clean room"

"Check in was prompt and easy. The room was a comfortable temperature. The shower had plentiful, hot, soft water...so nice after a long day! The only nitpicking I can do is mention that the hairdryer was missing from its' designated holder. And there was no toilet roll holder. Neither had the least affect on my stay! A great bargain for the price."

"the room had an odor and half the outlets didn't work... this hotel needs an overhaul/redo"

"Very happy with the hotel"

"Interior and exterior needs updating."

"What a beautiful old place! A hidden gem in this quiet area. We were greeted like family and fed an amazing breakfast! This will certainly be a place to stay at should we return to the area."

"It was a very nice and clean room."

"I've debated writing this review, but I need to say that the place is just not safe. I had to move rooms twice because the door locks didn't work and the ground-floor window wouldn't close... let alone lock. And that's not even talking about the beer bottle caps left on the room floor, the general layer of filth everywhere, the wet towels left from the previous guest, the rusted out showerhead, or the mouse poop behind the nightstand. The staff are really nice people, it's just a very dirty...

"Wonderfully interesting place to stay! I can imagine it being awesome for a wedding or reunion-excellent dining room, lovely rooms, fantastic bathroom!"

"The pillows are terrible so you may want to bring your own. The sheet was stained. It did smell nice in the room but there was someone else's stuff by the night stand, however, nothing valuable. The hotel in York was a lot nicer."

"Room was clean, hotel looks new but is actually 6 years old, very well kept place. Nice place to stay."

"This hotel was awful. First of all, there's no lighting at the entry road to the hotel and you can't see it until you're passed it so we missed the road trying to get in and had to turn around and we still couldnt see it and almost missed it again. If we didnt have a gps, we never would have found it. There was barely any parking. The front desk staff looked about 12 to 15 and was extremely unhelpful. The front desk wouldn't give us any towels or paper towels even though I explained my water...

"The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. When I called the hotel, however, they said there were no rooms with two double beds and instead the room had one double bed and pull-out couch with could serve as another bed if needed. I said that is not what I booked...

"The property is not very well sound proofed. Being in one of the first rooms down from the front desk and across from the laundry area I heard people checking in late and the staff preparing for the day early. The rooms do not have closets so hanging up clothes is not an option. I also wish they had jelly in the breakfast area. This is the second year I have stayed here for the New York Bigfoot Conference and I will return for year three. The staff was friendly and efficient."

"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

"There is no way they should charge what they charged for 1 night stay. "
