"My room felt like a palace, and the inner courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. It was convenient to the train and bus stop, but a bit far from the center of Catania, and slightly sketchy neighborhood in between. Breakfast was good - many healthy and fresh options."

"Unfortunately our room was a big disappointment, given the photos looked quite nice. It was located on the 1st floor, very small and dated, with minimal natural light due to the wall immediately outside the window. The bathroom was unclean and dated. The bed looked like it was from the Convent round the corner. Overall a depressing space, so we decided to immediately check out and change hotels. There maybe nicer rooms available on higher floors but I wouldn't recommend from our experience."

"There is a written warning in the rooms: You always have to keep the windows closed at night because of the mosquitos. I would not believe that and woke up with several stitches - even in November.
