"Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view. The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay. Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time."

"We just spent 7 nights here and loved it. The suites had exactly what we needed, fridge, microwave and coffee pot! We did not cook meals. We used the kitchen for breakfast and got baguette sandwiches for lunch at the local market a block down from the hotel. The market was fairly priced for many items. Fruit was a bit pricey. (Buy your drinks warm for a better price.) It was very clean and the service staff did their jobs without being noticed. The pool area was super clean and there were always chairs available. Beach towels available. The beach was AMAZING - Calm and incredibly turquoise and clear. Coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the pool and ocean was great. The planes flying over were fun to watch and not as noisy as you’d think. Not early in the morning or much after 5pm. The location is perfect. Restaurants (we lived Roma), casino, market, pharmacy and gift shops are all within walking distance. See Mr. London to line up excursions - very reasonable. Taxi to airport is $5 per person and a 10-15 minute ride."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is accessible and clean and nice. Not much to do in the actual hotel but the location is great to get to everything. The one younger woman that works the front desk isn’t so pleasant and you almost feel like you’re a bother to her. But the older woman and young man are pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it for a stay if you’re an independent traveller and not looking for much amenities in a hotel."

"Have been going to the Flamingo before it was purchased by Hilton. Hilton did a nice job on the rebuild after hurricane Irma. Room was clean except floor always had sand on it. Staff did bare minimum on checkin, checkout. They did not share much information unless asked. On check out they stated we had an outstanding charge from the restaurant. It took some doing but they found the mistake and removed the charge. We never ate there. Was there for 13 days and they serviced the room twice. All they did is give new towels and moved the sand around on the floor. The view from the room was nice. We never ate anywhere at the resort. For a Hilton, I found it somewhat lacking."
