"We loved staying at the Occidental Ljubljana. The rooms were spotless and the location is excellent - steps away from old town. However, one caution is that the bathroom is not a traditional layout. The sink is fully open and visible to anyone in the room (no walls at all) and the shower and toilet are in separate stalls. If you prefer to change in the bathroom or use the sink in private, it is a bit difficult in this bathroom layout. But other than that, it is an excellent hotel."

"Pros - The room was well set up for a family, with bed set up in a living area. The kitchen is stocked with utensils and a microwave. Convenient location to lake activities. Cons - The carpeting smelled like wet socks and the room had to be aired whenever we stepped in. You have no choice but to leave the window and door ajar for fresh air but if the lights are on bugs and moths fly in. You can smell cigarette smoke from smokers smoking in their balconies. "Parking is expensive and there is not even space to park. Spa has entry fee, you cannot excess anything without paying 25 euro per person. Also in the morning around 8 the staff entered our room without knocking the door. For the price I feel let down."

"Overall it was ok but disappointed with the house keeping. They came to clean the room but they don’t clean the table I need to call them back to clean. They took the dirty cups but didn’t replace it and they told me to call the reception to get the clean one which I think it was unbelievable bad. Then empty body wash I need to call them twice to get it took more than an hour. For that reason I would only give 3 stars."

"Amazing location in the heart of the city, with the Old Town just a short walk away. The property is exceptionally clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast offers an excellent variety.
