"Breakfast and dinner great. But the cleanliness in the rooms shocking. A huge roach appeared from no where ( there’s even a roach spray in the room)- roaches must make a regular appearance!

"We had a great experience at the Protea Hotel. Check in and out was efficient and all employees extremely courteous and helpful. The restaurant prepared breakfast to go on short notice due to our early departure. The facility is immaculately kept and tastefully designed. The location was great and we were able to safely walk the streets at night and experience some of the local culture. Highly recommended and would love to return in the future."

"While Cape Town itself was wonderful and the food at the hotel was quite good, the overall service fell well short of expectations. Throughout my stay, I constantly had to track down basic amenities and follow up on requests.
