"My family of three had a great stay at Avatara. Our bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and all staff were kind and great with our toddler. The airport transfer Avatara arranged for us was easy and the driver was so wonderful. Additionally, communication with the owner before our stay was prompt, kind, and clear. This was our first trip to Cape Town and the Green Point neighborhood is safe with plenty to do and great places to eat. We recommend Avatara 100%!"

"Great location we could walk to long street that had all the bars and restaurants. Also the rooftop bars were close and walking distance as well. There are a lot of homeless people around. But I found that’s in every downtown area and was in the same in Johannesburg. They do not bother you and at no time did we feel unsafe. We had a full kitchen with dishes. "We stayed in the apartment part of the hotel, which was a long walk from the hotel itself along long corridors. Reception was poor on arrival, no WiFi connection in the apartment only in the hotel bar. A bit sad and improved cleaning of patio would help"

"The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. "Recently returned from a 3 night stay at these apartments and we had a great stay in apartment 6. It was modern, clean and bang in the centre of Franschhoek town. The check in was the quickest ever and room was ready for us despite arriving early. The facilities were great and bed comfy - didn’t want to leave the place and wouldn’t hesitate to book when visiting again 😀 "

"Good place to stay for a longer term rental. Excellent location with lots of food choices nearby. Property has some maintenance / cleanliness issues but if you aren't super picky you will be happy. Staff is very friendly and easy to work with."
