"If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress.
The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement."

"If your planning on visiting the Charleston area and want a really nice resort style hotel then this is the perfect place. We visited for a week and it is in a really nice area with everything just a few miles away. It’s in Mount Pleasant not Charleston but the historic district is right across the river and you can get there by water taxi or the resort has a van that runs all day long into the night for free and it’s only a ten minute ride or just drive yourself there’s plenty of parking at...

"We stayed in an Oceanview room, room was a little outdated but was clean and comfortable. Our room had a floor fan for you to use as well as a baby gate that would be helpful to families with kids I thought both of these were nice additions that you don't normally see. We will definitely stay again."
