"I can’t honestly rate this hotel because I missed my flight and Expedia, this hotel and American Airlines first to reschedule my flight which was for an important milestone in my son’s life his graduation ceremony for the military. I am extremely disappointed and angry with my whole experience. For me now to be out not only on missing this important event I am out the money because they now refuse to give me a refund do not use Expedia to book they say it’s up to the hotel and the airline and then those says it’s up to Expedia I don’t care who it’s up to someone needs to give me a refund! I will never book through them again"

"Breakfast should be at least until 11. In the bathtub, there should be a mat or bathmats inside the bathtub, as the bathtub was extremely slippery."

"The breakfast was the usual sausage, eggs, and waffles. It was good and the coffee was fresh. The room clean but you can tell some upgrading is needed. Some of the caulk in the tub had mold on it. But for the price, it was ok. They cleaning staff was very nice!"

"Rooms were comfortable, checking in out was easy. The valet was fantastic. Just feel it was compared to the other Marriott properties here in Norfolk. It’s a little overpriced. Definitely need some updating in the rooms. Some of the rooms were some rust on some things and the bathroom door was damaged on the very bottom but overall a nice stay"

"Staff was Amazing , AM Midday and evening. Greetings every time. Restaurant 10/10. They have specials for week nights as well as a nice lounge on the weekends. Micheal the bartender was so nice, well presented, well manager. Imani/Amani was such a sweet server, with a blessed future a head of her. The restaurant GM has a staff that complements her very well. Front desk staff was amazing very thorough. My only issue was the POOL being out of order. That hurt my soul. Hopefully by my next booking we can be at the pool. "
