"Een prachtige villa in de middle of nowhere. Just what we needed! Wild Olive House is self-service, maar perfect als je met een kleine op vakantie bent. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder...

"Gareth & Grant have a beautiful home & it was a pleasure to stay with them. Everything was top quality...our room, the pool, the outside space. Each day they deliver a fabulous 3 course breakfast, then afternoon tea & cake, & at 6pm canapés & drinks for all, which turns into a lovely social event, throughout with home baked & delicious treats. "We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. No guestbook re: restaurant times,...

"We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein."
