"If you like old, quaint and quirky then this is the place for you. The proximity to the Loire is unbeatable with beautiful views and walks along the riverside. The room we had (402) was huge but accessed by a very tight and steep staircase. An interesting style of furnishings but the bed was comfy with good linen. The bathroom was also spacious but some DIY to the fixings would help. The evening meal is served by restauranteurs who are not involved with the accommodation. The food was tasty...

"The host is excellent! So kind and generous with his time. During the heatwave we had a car breakdown and he gave us a fan and cold water while we waited for the repairs. He was very accommodating and helpful whenever he could. It's a small place so they don't work super well with travel companies like this and booking. The flexibility they offer goes beyond what the listing says. Highly recommend."

"Ein ehemaliges Jagdhaus wurde vor kurzem zu 4 ganz tollen Wohnungen ausgebaut. Ich habe schon mehrere sehr nette Gastgeber kennengelernt, aber noch nie jemanden, der mit so viel Freude und echter guter Laune diesen Job ausfüllt! Offensichtlich hat er sich seinen Traum erfüllt und kann es kaum glauben, wie schön alles geworden ist! Zum Frühstück gibt es Baguette, Schinken o.ä. vom lokalen Fleischer, mehrere leckere Käsesorten, selbstgemachte Marmelade und oft noch einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen....

"Goed hotel voor een enkele overnachting op doorreis. Vriendelijke bediening en een schone kamer. Auto kan geparkeerd worden op afgesloten terrein, wat een veilig idee is. Genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Het hotel heeft zelf geen restaurant, maar zoals gezegd, is er voldoende in de buurt. Het hotel ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden van de tolweg, dus 's morgens zo weer op pad."
