"Breakfast service needs tuneup"

"Lovely property. All rooms have view of vineyard and Seneca Lake and a balcony. Very peaceful and quiet. Good sized room with large bathroom that includes separate mirror and counter for make-up, etc. So lots of shelf space. Bathroom could use a little upgrading, but certainly would not stop me from staying again. Great area - close to wineries and cheese/ice cream tasting. Only about 10 minutes to Watkins Glen."

"A very nice lodging right at the heart of Penn Yan, a quaint town that is literally right beside the beautiful Keuka Lake. The only downside is its limited parking spaces and when this was brought up with the front desk staff who was on duty, she could not offer an option where to park in case guests arrive and there are no available spots within the property. No traveler would want to find out that their vehicle was towed or assessed a fine because of illegal parking."

"This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. If you want a clean, safe, convenient hotel, go here. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, but dated. They service the room every day! And restock your coffee! "Everything was just so beautiful, from the gardens, the art in the home and the layout of the home! Our host, Rose, was so serene and kind. She gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, she was wonderful! Our breakfasts were delicious, locally sourced, hearty and decadent.
