"Firstly I would like to say communication with the staff is extremely difficult. Constantly having to call multiple times to get to someone. For example, the code given for room wasn’t correct and communication took forever. There was no toiletries whatsoever and since communication was so hard it forced us to buy our own paper towels, towels, rags, etc. The property was nice but it was clear no housekeeping had been in there before we came. "This is an old-school fifties-style motel (looking at it makes one think of "Shady Rest Inn" ), with a central building that serves simple dinner and beer (did not avail). The room is very old-fashioned and mine had two very solid double beds. Have to admit that my sheet had a rather prominent red (blood?) spot that was near my head and hard to ignore. "Not sure if they are "open for the season" but they were open for Memorial day weekend. I paid full price for a room that definitly needs renovating. The vertical blinds didn't cover the window. Had to take the bed spread off the bed and use it as curtains. The air conditioner fell apart as we tried to turn it on and no phones in the rooms. Tv worked, but no channels..bring a dvd. And most of all no maid service the entire weekend. Not sure about the free breakfast or dinner....Would not...
