"It was tidy and amenities were good"

"It is a privately owned hotel, not a part of any big chain. The owner was super welcoming and helpful. The location is close to Hummondsport and many of the local wineries and reastaurants. The room was well appointed and very clean. Would definitely stay again, when in the area."

"Quality it is not. It was passable if you’re really on a budget but I would not stay here again. Showing its age badly, broken shower head, skeleton staff who was nice enough but a bummer of a place."

"Outside needs a facelift. Room was clean and looked nice. People below our room played loud music for an hour and a half and at 10:15 they stopped. It appeared as though economically challenged people were living there. They didn’t give any problems except loud music. When we went to check in no one was at the desk. We rang a buzzer three times, waiting between each attempt. I happened to see the manager’s phone number on a card so I called and he said he was on his way. Eventually he came."

"The hotel was nice, our room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. There was not much to the breakfast buffet and that was a disappointment."

"Convenient location for our needs. Pleasant staff for our late night check in and morning check out. Breakfast was useful bonus. Room was clean. Parking very convenient"

"The kitchen area needed a good cleaning! There were lots of maintenance issues; small things that needed done everywhere. Parking was great. Breakfast was small with few choices. Staff was friendly but not easy to find. We would not stay there again."

"We loved our stay. Very clean. We booked two rooms for our young family and they gave us connecting rooms. It's definitely on the top of our list when traveling with children."

"Staff encounter were all good, but they don’t have enough people at night that you have to come down and go to the the front for your needs like towels. You have to carry in your room roll away beds. Rate is a little expensive in my opinion with regards to location, room space, and amenities. Otherwise all of them are polite, attentive and respectful."
