I was there during the rain storm which was quite insane. The staff in all of this was very good, they tried their best to make the guests as comfortable as possible and help them in any way needed. The location is convenient with close access to Dubai mall and most of the tourist attractions in DXB. There are also a great selection of restaurants in the area.
