"Welcomed like an old friend upon arrival, my hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. I ate a casual dinner and then breakfast at the property and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable and very quiet. It was a great stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Although a little of route it was a stop off on our way to La Rochelle. We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. We had the 3 bedroom accomadtion and it had everything we needed. It is dated, but all in all a good stopping point for us as this is always difficulty for a family of 5."

"Charming hotel with a few disappointing issues This is a charming hotel with a lovely terrace and a very nice enclosed outdoor space, which makes it particularly pleasant in the summer. The rooms are a good size and well equipped, which was a definite plus. The breakfast was also really good and was one of the highlights of our stay. However, we experienced a couple of issues that were disappointing. Despite staying in the middle of summer, we were unable to open the windows in our room, which...

"Our hosts, the owners of the property, Philippe and Francois, were excellent. The property has a main home designed after George Washington’s Mount Vernon home. There are a number of cottages also, as well as a horse stable where the owners keep their horses which they train, on the property, for equestrian events. The property is a 15 minute drive from Giverny and Monet’s house and gardens. An excellent stay to couple with that visit. We hope to return some day!"

"Chambre totalement insalubre, la porte ne fermait pas nous voyons le jours à travers la porte et la cloison, la moquette de la chambre ainsi que les draps était taché, dans l'obligation de réserver chez un concurrent en dernière minute afin d'éviter de clairement gâcher mon séjour dans cet hotel, au vu du prix de l'hotel nous pouvons nous attendre à une qualité moindre mais il y a tout de même des limites !"
