"The hotel is very nice and is situated on a hill, offering a great view of the city. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The gym was well equipped, and the instructor was outstanding. Breakfast was fantastic. However, the pool was not usable during our stay because it was not clean, and we were surprised that there was no seating around the pool area. Despite this drawback, we enjoyed the serenity of the hotel."

"Check in time was supposed to be 12pm, I arrived at 12:38pm and was told I couldn’t check in till 2pm because the rooms were not ready yet. I went down to order some food for lunch and it literally took an hour before I got served. I had to chase the waiter down to ask for my bill and then look for him again for my change. "I booked and paid online with Expedia which of recent has become my favorite. Little did I know Expedia was no longer working with Lagoon Beach Hotel. I got there and I was told this. I had to pay again to have a place to stay. I will therefore request that Expedia to refund the money I paid online. Otherwise it will be considered as a deliberate scam on the part of Expedia. I cannot understand why Expedia suspended their work with Lagoon Beach Hotel and still keep the hotel on their website....

"The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful and the food tasty. The pool was out of order and the water pressure quite low, but the setting was beautiful with excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Overall a very enjoyable stay."
