"Room was nice enough but not practical ..... lighting was poor, there were no bedside cabinets, there was no dressing table, there was one easy chair and one stool (it was a double room so why not two chairs) bath/shower not guest friendly, the bath plug/drain did not drain properly which resulted in my having to stand in very hot scalding water for my shower and getting bright red feet as a result, there was no toilet brush either which is a basic hygiene matter. "The only thing that was acceptable about the Iris Hotel is that desk staff were polite. The carpets and other surfaces were visibly dirty. Looks like the hotel had not been cleaned in months perhaps years. The sheets on the beds appeared clean but were well used. There was mold growing in the shower and a crack in the sink. The windows were sealed shut and there were water stains on the ceiling. I had booked 4 nights at the Iris but 1 night was enough and on the morning of May 29 I checked out...

"I loved it. It was so close to the train station, which made it easy to find and walk to on my departure day. I also love that it was close to everything, great restaurants, great coffee, shops, the mall, you couldn’t go wrong. I went to a concert and it was within walking distance of the hotel. I lost my phone in the staff helped me identify the location where it was and asked me about the outcome afterwards. They were very good and stayed calm helping me to stay calm as well. I highly...
