"Communication at check-in was disappointing. The staff member spoke to me without properly explaining the property layout or showing where my room was located. There is rarely anyone at reception — it was completely closed at 1 pm. I tried calling the number listed on the front door, but no one answered at first. When I eventually got through, I mentioned that there was no cutlery in the room. I was told they don’t provide cutlery for short stays, which is absurd — I’ve never stayed anywhere...

"We stayed there for four nights. We had the hot breakfast one morning and the continental on an other day. We used the 10$ vouchers that they leave if you don’t get your room serviced that day, which lessened the cost. The breakfast was good, but there are other options in the area as well. We used the laundry, 4$ per was which included powder and no cost to dry. Great amenity. The local area is great, a few dodgy bars heading east on Hindley Street, and a little loud into the early hours on...

"Hotel was in a great location for the Fringe festival and shopping. The breakfast buffet was great and parking was additional but close. Issue we had was the TV volume was manual as the remote didn't work. "

"Overall, a good choice for a stay in the CBD. Reasonable restaurants are a short walk. Hotel is clean and my room was well maintained and in good working order. The breakfast buffet offerings were identical each of the two mornings for which I purchased the breakfast add-on at time of booking. This was all for 2 days in a row. Any more, I’d be disappointed in the selections. Daily housekeeping is not provided. You’ll need to ask for fresh towels or coffee maker supplies. "
