"The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel decor was nice. The room was in need of some maintenance and there was a noticeable lack of soundproofing. I could hear water running through the pipes and thumping from people walking around.
Overall the stay was good but not great, as you’d expect from a 5 star hotel."

"We stayed just before the peak season room had not been cleaned. The exhaust fan above the toilet was full of dust. Hair in the shower. Dirty dishes had been put away and a dirty mark on the bed cover. Out door furniture had not been cleaned. The unit was over all quite dusty including the floor."

"The room was a bit dated and likely due for a make-over, but everything was well-maintained and spotless. Everything you needed was available. Staff was great - Fiona is a gem.
I would be very happy to visit again."

"Beautiful and central location. Food is wonderful, although lounge at front entrance could be better as really only provided carmel bars and no coffee. Suggest you grab something to eat before arriving as no room service and dinner wasn't until 7pm. Grounds are magnificent. It wasn't the 5 star experience you pay for but definitely a beautiful relaxing place to stay!"
