"Had a lovely one night stay at North West. Great service from lovely staff. Our room was clean and inviting, and the bed comfortable. The food we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! I will be dreaming about the parmesan & garlic bread sticks for a long time. The bathroom was small, but no complaints as to cleanliness or functionality. "

"Quaint little cabin, with everything you need to brave the high winds of the west fjords. One recommendation, provide a mini bar with a red and white wine and mini liquors. After the treacherous drive through the icy mountains, we could’ve really used a drink to calm the nerves. Beautiful property Would stay again!"

Its set on a working farm, so icelandic horses are just around the corner from your room. 2 geo pools of different temps and another pool inside a greenhouse to help wind down a day. There is also a natural geo pool across the river, which normally is easily accesed but at this time the staff described as "complicated" due to river being so high, but was able to get to by crossing shin high water in certain spots of the...

"Tiny little rooms with everything you need. Separate toilet/shower room so you don’t have to wait. Had a little restaurant area where you got free breakfast and could buy some lamb or fish soup for dinner (if you don’t arrive before they close, there’s another little restaurant across the street)"
