"Hotel de Su Merced is a beautiful hotel throughout! The courtyard and each floor's multiple terraces all have great views. The whole hotel feels like a garden house, and it's well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. Also the hotel is very well located, convenient walking distances to many attractions, museums and restaurants. The front desk guy Edwin was super friendly and all the restaurants he recommended were delicious with charming ambiances. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Sucre in the future. And highly recommend it to people who visit Sucre! "

Breakfast staff were always attentive amd very good breakfast selection. The location is amazing right next to the main square amd all the restaurant. "The person on whats app was so helpful and helped me with everything! Sent me a beautiful list of things to do and things to eat, helped me with laundry and booked me a lovely clean safe taxi to airport. Nice breakfast but mattress was a bit uncomfortable and no shower screen meaning bano got a bit wet. There wasnt really a vibe there either, I didnt make any friends. "

"A mix up at check in saw delays and harassment over payment. Eventually sorted with apologies from the admin. Very poor hot shower - a dribble of water at best. Otherwise the stay was fine with warm room, excellent breakfasts offered. "

"Gorgeous historic hotel! It has a beautiful cellar restaurant and a rooftop with food/drink service where you can view the city and the sunsets. It’s walkable and safe. Sucre is a beautiful colonial and well-preserved city."

"The hotel is nice which is a few long blocks from the city center but the room we were assigned to it’s noisy at night when the band or music is playing till 2am. The worst part is that we were not allowed to flush bath tissue in the toilet. They ask you to put it the trash where you’ll be smelling used bath tissue every time you use the bathroom!"
