"When I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the owner and all of the members of staff that I met. I had an excellent dinner on two nights at the hotel and once again the staff were excellent offering a very personal service. On one of the nights the restaurant was quite busy but it didn't affect the great service or the time it took to prepare my meal. It was the same at breakfast where the choices were excellent.

"accommodation was lovely and clean. Breakfast was really good. Only one negative but in no way reflection on the hotel our room was on the high street right next to the town clock, so heard the chimes on the hour every hour. Hotel great location for visiting the dams."
