"The Seascape is a beautiful property right on a quiet section of beach close to SK Town surf break. Stunning views. Our family of three spent 3 nights. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the evening dinner specials were fantastic; varied Sri Lankan cuisine. Highly recommended"

"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. "The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first...

"Stayed for two weeks in September 2023. For starters, the host family at Talalla Freedom are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, adjusted to my food allergies, went over and beyond. Rs 250 for a pot of fresh tea. The pool is lovely and well kept, the view and access to Talalla beach is phenomenal (as long as you don't have any mobility issues. Beds are Sri Lanka firm but comfy. You can sit in a nice recliner with your tea and watch the monkeys walk by. The birds in the area are beautiful. Be aware...

"We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond. Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening. Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. "
