Breakfast is always same. They need to serve different kinds of food like other hotels. I highly recommend that they should benchmark "Four point Hotel in Dhaka".

very average stay .. POSITIVES :- 1) Location in gulshen 2 -- good for business. 2) Room size ( specially if you are a large family ) each room is about the size of an apartment with two rooms and two bathrooms and a Kitchenette 3) The staff were kind and courteous 4) Good breakfast NEGATIVES :- 1) Didnt like the decor of the room- brick work and unpainted walls ( maybe this was part of the look --but it looked incomplete) 2) Its a 3 star category hotel...not a 5 star as it looks in the pic- the pool was nice but the public washrooms were dirty 3) Dimly lit rooms 4) Small Restaurant

Friendly staff and great location
My experience was good but not great. Few changes will make it more enjoyable for future guests. For example: *Apartment size was quite big but storage facilities were not that great. *My executive suite didn't have microwave but it was organised on my 2nd day of arrival. *Funny fact is they had a ironing board without any electric iron. I didn't bother to ask for it. *Staff were friendly and helpful. But house keeping needs proper tool and more manpower. *Hotel security is good. Althougg it was quite awkward asking front desk staff to get access to the lift! Yes, you need to ask them every single time unless you want to use the stairs!

Not 5 Star Hotel. Should be 3 star
Previously I found Expedia search results accurate but on this occasion Expedia said Olive Hotel as 5 Star & in my opinion it should be 3 Star if I compare with other 5 star hotels in Dhaka such as The Westin Hotel & around the world. Only one very small dark reastuarent back of the hotel with full of Mosquitos. Very small hotel reception area. Hotel location is undesirable etc

Its was good in olive. Big room with with kitchen, double toilet and bathroom. 24 Hrs swimming and gym. Its amazing.

This hotel was outrageous. When I turned up, there was no room for me and I had to share with a colleague. No refund because 'already paid'. Merely offered a free airport transfer (worth about a third of the room rate). Hotel.com were also useless in trying to sort saying they could not do anything as the room had been paid for.

Not a good place to stay
I booked the hotel through Expedia about a month before my stay. When I arrived there they said I didn't have any reservation. I showed my itinerary from Expedia which showed I paid the total amount of $750 for 4 nights for a Executive Suits. They said since I booked too early I have to pay again because they don’t have any records of it. I told them to verify with Expedia but they said they would not do it and said I have to call Expedia and straight it up. When I called Expedia they said they sent everything to the hotel and they should have all my information. Expedia sent all my information again. Anyway, I had to go through hell to check in. Next day someone called me again said that I may have to pay again. They gave me a cheaper room even though I paid for a Executive Suits. I paid for two guests. My guest came the 2nd day but they would not let her stay at the hotel. The reason was I didn’t tell them about my guest when I checked in. After all these nonsense, I wanted to just check out and go to a different Hotel. When I called the front desk to talk to the manager he started to yelling at me saying I couldn’t check out because I was supposed to stay for 4 days and they would not give my money back. I stayed at Sonargoan, Sheraton and Lakeshore hotel in Dhaka many times before but never had this horrible experience. Also, the towels in the bathrooms are dirty and they stinks. Never staying there ever again.

Mosquitos
The rooms are accessible from outside and not an interior hallway like most hotels therefore it is easy for mosquitos to enter the room when you enter and exit. The hotel rooms are big like 2 bedroom flats but they are not very clean. Wipe your finger across the furniture and there is dirt. Maybe the rooms are too big so the workers are only focusing on cleaning the bathroom and changing sheets when customers leave, I don't know.

Superb Hotel Away from Traffic Noise
It was near to our client's office which was very convenient as we could walk to it saving lots of time avoiding the traffic. The security was superb and I made use of the gym a few days during my stay. Was extremely happy with the entire stay.

Great facilities, service could improve.
Room: great! No complaints. Clean, new furniture. Large windows with views of the city. Restaurant: Low quality food, but priced reasonably. Breakfast buffet has decent variety but loses its appeal after a few days. Amenities: Pool is pretty good. Hardly anyone uses it so it is easy to swim laps. Gym is small and lacks weight equipment, but is fine for people that just want to use the treadmill. Service: Overstaffed & undertrained. English skills and cultural awareness generally lacking.

Would happily stay there again
I stayed at The Olives for 3 nights, all of which were very comfortable and the hotel staff were very good. The room was very clean and far more spacious than i was expecting, the bed was very comfortable. All areas of the hotel were very clean and tidy. Happy with the breakfast and dinner options in the hotel restaurant.

A good hotel in Bangladesh
The hotel is very comfortable. Food is good. Room in general is clean. The hotel has individual Wifi in each guess room so the internet connection is very good. However, the glasses in wash room are not cleaning up which make me a bit disappointed. The team & Mr Maruf (the CEO of the hotel) are all very nice. I did have had a good time during my stay in the hotel.

굴산지역 중심에 있어 이동이나 미팅시 좋음
호텔의 위치는 비즈니스에는 적격인 위치였으며, 방글라데시를 고려하여 호텔의 상태도 만족합니다. 다만, 호텔에서 제공하는 공항 픽업 서비스가 호텔비와는 별도로 편도에 3만원 정도를 지불해야 하니 여유가 없을 경우 별도의 교통편을 사전에 알아보는게 좋을것 같습니다. Sim 카드도 호텔에서 보유하고 있어서 구입이 편리하였으나, 시중 가격에 비해 비싸게 판매하고 있으니 참고하세요.
