Room was cozy and comfortable. Loved the updates as I knew these rooms when I was a little kid. They are amazing now. Staff is very accommodating. Snacks and drinks furnished complimentary.

I’ve stay in small motels throughout Kansas and beyond for decades. This was the best of the best! It’s clear the owner takes pride in what they offer, it’s reflected in everything from the furnishings, cleanliness and how well equipped the room is for all your needs. An oasis slightly off the beaten path and a change from sterile (and more expensive) chain hotels. Quaint, comfortable. And in a small town and if you pick the right day you can go to an old-fashioned drive-in or just go to Pete's Place. Living the life in a vintage motel!

This was a fantastic stay for us. We had the queen suite and absolutely loved it! It was comfortable, cozy, definitely had bed and breakfast level of comfort. We got a basket of snacks, which was a huge plus since we were starving after a day of hiking. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I love that it's a family owned place rather than a big chain. We are already planning out next trip to the area and will definitely stay again!

This place is unbelievably clean, comfortable, and unique. The rooms are spotless and decorated very nicely. Feels like home. The lady that runs the place is so nice and makes sure you’re taken care of. Customer care is something you just don’t find anymore…. But this place does it right and makes you feel like family… not a bother.

On a long road trip and started to get sleepy so I looked at what was available nearby. So lucky to find this place! Excellent communication, cute little town, friendly woman at the café a stone’s throw away. The people who run this place are family and you can tell they put a lot of pride and care into the place. Most rooms are dog friendly, and they are very accommodating in that regard as well, even giving treats. Five stars!

Small town Motel, which was what I needed

This place is a typical small town motel. The room is kind of what you would expect clean quiet and fairly comfortable. The staff is pleasant. The area is nice and I felt very safe. This is the second time that I have stayed here And would stay here again. Small town Pleasant and recommend for an easy place to stay previous review from someone certainly did not fit this motel.
