"Die Unterkunft wurde uns von südafrikanischen Freunden empfohlen. Man müsse die Honeymoon Suite, ein Chalet etwas oberhalb, buchen. Bei unserer Ankunft hiess es dann, wir hätten die Honeymoonsuite mit Frühstück gebucht und das Chalet sei die Honeymoonsuite ohne Frühstück. Dass es zwei Honeymoonsuiten gibt, war nirgends ersichtlich. Unsere war dann ein etwas abgewohntes, grosses Zimmer mit Badewanne, ohne Dusche. Das Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und ist sehr einfach. Das Personal ist...

"The property is well maintained, comfortable and clean. The rooms are serviced daily and the host is quick to respond to any of your needs. There is no swimming pool or outdoor space on the property, however the location is within close proximity to hiking, cycling trails and an abundance of activities. +/-2km easy walk to the clarens waterfall.The main town square is within walking distance. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens."
