There are a variety of restaurants and bars close by the property and you can also catch a ferry down the river to Brisbane City Centre."

"The room was very clean, plenty of room, fridge and coffe tea sugars well stocked Very comfy bed with great amount of pillows. Was kept cool through having an aircon and wifi was excellent. Just a pity it didnt have opening windows. Can get slightly noisey from other occupants. The only problem we had is when they required our visa card incase of damages which was fine but didnt like the fact they took our card out of sight (in the back) to write down details instead of doing it in front of us....

"If you are going to Suncorp Stadium or a Caxton Street venue like Lefty's Music Hall, this is the ideal place to stay. Arrive early to ensure limited hotel parking because the only other option is The Barracks which is very expensive. There are two sets of lifts in the carpark - one goes to the function area and the other to hotel reception, so make sure you read the signs. We checked in a little early and I agreed to stay in an accessible room as our room wasn't ready. Good air-con, comfortable...

"The room was a good size and very clean. Staff was most helpful and friendly. The position was handy to the local shops and public transport - easy walking distance. Parking off street made access easy and safe."

"The hotel had character but felt tired and rundown; definitely needs money spending on it. Hotel restaurant was average for breakfast; there were better options outside, but avoid the Pancake Manor! The location was good as restaurants, shops and public transport were all nearby."

"The room was filthy. I arrived late otherwise would have requested another room. I raised upon check out the next day and got a loose apology. Not good enough and a total dissapointment for $330 a night."

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find...
