"Fleensee was a new experience and the castle was awesome. Several options for dinner. The challenges was that no menu’s in english and just a few people who could. They had a tasting menu of 3-6 courses but we couldnt find a seat. The other restaurant had a buffet- that was good. The breakfast was awesome. The rooms in the annex are quite old but comfortable with a little terrace."

Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen. "So happy to have discovered this interesting and beautiful hotel! We chose it because the price was good and we suddenly needed to stop as we were traveling in the area. Ots more than we expected - really an historic renovated very cool place. The owner has given great detail to everything. Gorgeous artifax, furniture, attention to tiny details, including freshly baked sourdough bread at the excellent breakfast (we bought some to take with us, the crust was so good). The pool is small but just fine! Sauna was good. We ended up staying longer than we thought and once we were moved to a room with screens on the windows, it was a perfect stay. We met the staff and "

"Great location for us on the way to cross over to Sweden just a few days later. Big and nice area. Felt like it was not taken care of tthough, needs better cleaning and landscaping resources. Also the supermarket really needs to extend there opening hours! Closing at 18 is not good enough. Much of the swimming area was closed for renovation but we had fun anyway. Big and nice house to live in. No noice from Autobahn to our house."
