The rooms were so spacious and the hotel was beautiful, and the staff were super attentive and amazing. I can’t wait to come back to stay again!!! It was only a 15 minute drive from the airport too which was super convenient. My only comment was there isn’t many casual/affordable in house dining options.

Enjoyable family weekend trip

We had an amazing time at the hotel and the whole staff were attentive and super helpful. Having the options of 6 different restaurants, all of them with excellent food was also a plus. The pool facilities were also wonderful.

This hotel was INCREDIBLE. From start to finish we loved it. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with incredible interior design in both the lobby and the rooms. The hotel has 5 amazing restaurants and a beautiful pool area. We attended the New Year’s Eve event which was good value for money and great fun - live music and a buffet. One of the best parts of this hotel was the staff - nothing was too much to ask at all. We didn’t want to leave the hotel! Would highly recommend

Elegant, chic hotel with distinctive style. Situated close to downtown Doha, in Al Bidda, on the way to Westbay. Beautiful interior design and impressive exterior architecture (the building used to be occupied by Qatar’s ministry of the interior before it was converted into this hotel). Very nice staff. Several restaurants. Beautiful gardens and greenery. You can be anywhere in Al Souq or Westbay with 10-15 minutes by cab. A metro station is nearby.

So 70’s

I literally traveled back to 1970’s! I loved every corner of the hotel. I loved that every night there is a live music. The atmosphere will take you to another time. Even the products that are in the shower are worth trying and they smell amazing. Worth the experience definitely recommend to stay at this hotel. Also it is in the middle of the city. The facilities are worth a visit. The only negative comment I would have that the walls weren’t sound proofed enough, understandable because the building is actually old.

The website stated "free shuttle bus" and gave instructions to download (see screenshot of the downloaded PDF document). This was carried out and having waited at the Metro Station South Exit it soon became apparent that there is no shuttle bus service. So I trekked across the park over 20 minutes to the hotel. At entry, a staff member guided me to the car park! Okay, then I was bought back the same way I came and finally got to check-in. The room attention to detail is astounding. An old Qatari Ministry building has been revamped into a 70s paradise. The sea facing rooms can be noisy with traffic as they face a busy main road, however, the stunning views more than make for it. I called guest services for some milk (we Brits like milk with tea). A simple request, yet 30QAR per small jug for tea was quoted. I queried this and the tone/mannerism from the operator was rude and condescending. Totally unacceptable. The gym really is superb. The spa is acceptable. Not the best massage (very little oil was used - still charged me though!). I feel if the little issues like certain staff temperament/manners and the planning issues were dealt with properly (don't just say it, do it!), this hotel really could be a true 5* experience. Unfortunately, poor planning and being spoken to with such disregard brings stars down to 3.
